Our Beliefs
Biblical conviction shapes the way we serve.
Pastors with Pastors is a Gospel-centered ministry committed to the authority of Scripture, the person and work of Jesus Christ, the health of the local church, and the faithful making of disciples. Our theological reference is the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
Scripture
The Bible is our authority.
We believe the Holy Bible is inspired by God, true and trustworthy, and the supreme standard for Christian faith and practice. Scripture testifies to Christ and governs the teaching, counsel, and ministry we offer.
God
We worship the one true God.
We believe there is one living and true God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is holy, sovereign, loving, and worthy of all worship and obedience.
Humanity and sin
Every person bears God's image and needs God's grace.
Human beings are created in the image of God and therefore possess God-given dignity. Sin has brought guilt, brokenness, and separation from God, and no person can rescue himself or herself from that condition.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became truly human, lived without sin, died for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, reigns as Lord, and will return. Our hope rests in His person and work, not in human achievement.
Salvation
Salvation is by God's grace through faith in Christ.
We believe God saves sinners through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Salvation is received through repentance and faith and is God's gracious work from beginning to end, producing a life of growing obedience and holiness.
The local church
Christ builds and leads His Church.
We believe the local church is a congregation of baptized believers gathered under the lordship of Christ, governed by His Word, practicing baptism and the Lord's Supper, using spiritual gifts for the good of the body, and carrying the Gospel to others.
Pastors with Pastors exists to serve and strengthen local-church ministry, not to replace it.
Mission and cooperation
The Gospel sends us toward others.
We believe Christ calls His people to make disciples, teach His Word, support faithful Gospel workers, and cooperate for the advance of the Gospel. We pursue that mission through biblical faithfulness, pastoral friendship, wise stewardship, and mutual encouragement across churches and cultures.
