Faithful pastors need faithful friends.

In rural communities across Ecuador, pastors faithfully shepherd local churches where ongoing biblical training, trusted ministry resources, and pastoral fellowship can be difficult to access. Pastors with Pastors exists to come alongside them—not to replace their ministry, but to strengthen it through Scripture, encouragement, practical care, and enduring relationships.

Our Story

A ministry built through years of pastoral friendship.

Pastor Russell Wagoner has served in Ecuador since 1998. Pastors with Pastors grows from years of relationship with pastors and churches—not from a desire to replace local leadership, but from a conviction that pastors serve more faithfully when they are strengthened by Scripture, encouragement, trusted resources, and friends who continue to walk with them.

The ministry's posture is simple: listen well, teach faithfully, pray together, learn from one another, and keep showing up as relationships grow.

What We Do

Strengthening pastoral ministry through Scripture and relationship.

  • Biblical Training

We gather around God's Word for Gospel-centered teaching that strengthens biblical interpretation, doctrine, discipleship, leadership, and faithful pastoral ministry.

  • Pastoral Encouragement

We make room for prayer, listening, personal encouragement, and the kind of pastoral friendship that continues beyond a training event.

  • Trusted Resources

We help provide Study Bibles and carefully selected Gospel-centered books that pastors can use in their own study, teaching, counseling, and leadership.

  • Lasting Relationships

We connect pastors and churches across cultures with a posture of mutual encouragement, shared learning, and long-term Gospel partnership.

Training matters. So does the pastor behind the ministry.

Pastoral ministry carries spiritual, relational, and family responsibilities that cannot be addressed by information alone. That is why Pastors with Pastors makes space for prayer, conversation, home and church visits, shared meals, and personal encouragement alongside formal biblical teaching.

Stories from Ecuador

Hear from pastors we are privileged to serve beside.

The clearest way to understand this ministry is to listen to the pastors themselves. Their faithfulness, churches, families, prayers, and ministry context belong at the center of the story.

Next Confirmed Trip: August 2027

Come ready to teach, listen, learn, and build friendships.

Training trips invite pastors and ministry leaders to serve alongside Ecuadorian pastors through biblical teaching, prayer, encouragement, conversation, and shared ministry. This is not religious tourism. The goal is faithful pastoral partnership that can continue long after a trip ends.

Give to Equip Pastors

Help put trusted tools and meaningful support into the hands of faithful pastors.

Gifts to Pastors with Pastors help make biblical training, Study Bibles and Gospel-centered books, participation support, pastoral care, and ministry gatherings possible. We want every gift to serve pastors with dignity and strengthen the ministry they are already carrying out in their churches and communities.

Romans 1:11–12

Mutual encouragement through one another's faith.

Pastors with Pastors is shaped by a biblical vision of believers strengthening one another in Christ. We come to encourage, and we expect to be encouraged. We come to teach, and we expect to learn. The relationship is mutual because the Gospel makes us fellow workers for the truth.

Let's strengthen pastors together.

Whether you are a pastor, church leader, supporting church, or Christian donor, there is a meaningful way to stand beside faithful pastors in Ecuador.
